When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in early 2020, digital and telemedicine was at the forefront of the fight against the virus.

The brief: To create a variety of engaging videos, articles and blog posts to be used across all channels. The content was to inform and educate patients about COVID-19 and how to deal with the associated effects of the virus and the national lock-down.

The speed of the spread and the constantly changing advice around COVID-19 meant that the solution was to create highly specific content around subjects where Babylon could add real medical value.

Flexible & adaptable content

Content needed to be delivered fast which meant that the creative solution had to be quick and easy to create as well flexible and adaptable.

A COVID specific playbook was designed to create consistency across all assets. A graphic collage style was developed as it was inexpensive, quick to create and could be easily be created by any designer in the team. The collage style created an ownable style that really stood out from other medical content and was also a great way to add brand personality.

Creating a content hub

The content created was used across all multiple social channels and within the Babylon app, the aim was to create an informative content hub allowing new and existing patients to view helpful content whenever they needed.
