Zopa Credit Card Social Campaign

It’s a common problem that most of us don’t really know how much we have on our credit card and managing our credit can be difficult and time consuming. The new credit card from Zopa was designed to give you complete control over you money and makes managing your credit effortless, from real-time balance updates to credit safety nets controlled right from the app.
The brief: Create an engaging social campaign to support the launch of the new credit card and promote its innovative features.
Phase 1
The chosen solution was a 2 phase social campaign, phase 1 created a simple teaser campaign that promoted the card with the playful idea that nothing else has quite as much control, not even a prize winning poodle or fancy pants bartender!
Phase 2
Phase 2 focussed on promoting the innovative features of the new credit card. The idea was the new Zopa credit card couldn’t help you with every problem that life throws at you but it could give you a little helping hand managing your credit.
A series of social carousels and animated videos were created to bring to life each feature.
These paid ads ran across Facebook and Instagram as well as being used to create a selection of organic content.
Driving engagement
To support the campaign and create engagement with customers an online quiz was created. The quiz contained a series of questions around spending habits and money management designed to calculate your own spending personality.
The personalties were brought to life with playful characters designed to reflect their spending personality traits. Once customers completed the quiz they could order a free sticker pack allowing them to personalise their Zopa credit card and share the result on social media.
